Your new role
An exciting opportunity has arisen working within the Estates department within the prison sector on Portland. We are seeking to appoint a reliable and trustworthy full time Carpenter to join our hardworking and friendly team. The job involves general maintenance and repair work such as making stairs, doors, windows, signposts, formwork and other bespoke timber items.
What you'll need to succeed
- You will be required to carry out a full NOMS DBS clearance which will be fully funded by the prison.
- The successful applicant will be NVQ qualified or equivalent, time served is also acceptable.
- Working in social housing/ similar environment would be beneficial.
