£35,000 - £45,000 (Depending on Experience)

Our client is a Digital Managed Service Agency, focused on digital markets in the private, public and charitable sectors. They are now looking to expand their team based in Central London.

After a successful couple of years, building up their client base, they are now looking to fill a range of roles, including a Business Development & Recruitment Manager (BDRM). They are looking for someone who wants to grow their career with an exciting, ambitious and dynamic company.

The Role
As their BDRM you will be responsible for sourcing and converting current and new business leads and working with the rest of the Olive Jar team, to develop, maintain and evolve our market position and proposition.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop leads and build a robust new business pipeline
  • Develop case studies and other sales collateral
  • Establish a robust approach and report back to the directors
  • Contribute to the overall development of them, in terms of positioning in the market
  • Participate in strategic brainstorming development
  • Build and maintain detailed knowledge of the sectors our clients/prospects work in
  • Create links and develop effective working relationships
  • Develop long term relationships to maximise income and leads
  • Attend networking events/seminars to maximise awareness of them
  • Working to the Directors reporting opportunities with current / new clients Working closely with directors to ensure smooth integration of new clients
  • Deliver a significant increase to their yearly profit and continuously meet targets set
  • Lead and participate in the candidate selection process
  • Liaise with both the candidates and the clients to organise and arrange candidate
  • interviews
  • Facilitate the communication regarding rate negotiations
  • Management of client contract extension
  • Facilitate offers to candidates
  • Attend regular face to face meetings with the clients
  • Secure new relationships and lead on new client negotiations
  • Nurture, mentor and manage junior staff and recruitment team

The Candidate
To be considered for the Business Development & Recruitment Manager position, you will have the following experience, skills and attributes:

  • 2+ years’ experience in a Sales / BDRM role
  • 1+ years’ experience in Recruitment
  • A good understanding and experience of digital
  • Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills
  • A high level of numeracy and literacy with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to multi task and work under pressure
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships internally and externally
  • Confidently to present to clients at all levels
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Ability to write quotes, pitches and tender documents
  • Aptitude for providing detailed reports and evaluations
  • A passion for developing the business and creating new sales leads
  • Confident with a relaxed, yet persuasive manner and able to build a rapport quickly
  • Track record of success in business development
