£55,000 to £65,000 plus £100,000 OTE, Car Allowance £6000,
Healthcare, 25 days holiday, company sick pay and Death in Service

My Client is a British designer and manufacturer of innovative modular housing solutions, selling them into the social and low-cost housing sector. Their homes are incredibly cost effective, spacious and cutting edge in terms of materials and build quality - yet can be in place, plumbed in and water-tight within 4 days. This VC backed business has the backing and leadership of two of the UK's leading house building companies, so it's a really exciting time to join them.

Summary of Position:
Working for an innovative and dynamic, equity-backed, start-up business we have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced BD Manager to lead the creation and development of a business pipeline. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to make a positive contribution to this growing and progressive organisation and help develop new products to build a robust pipeline for the future.

Primary Responsibilities:

Prospect for new Social Housing clients and turn this into increased business.

Meet potential clients by growing, maintaining and leveraging your network.

Identify potential clients, and the decision makers within their organisation.

Plan approaches and pitches by working with the team to develop proposals that speak to the client's needs, concerns and objectives.

Close sales deals and own the customer relationship end to end.

MINIMUM Experience Required:

Thorough understanding of the construction industry, but that experience MUST BE within affordable/ social housing or modular build.

Proven and demonstrable track record of building a solid pipeline which has delivered substantial growth for previous and current organisations.

Deep understanding of pipeline and account management.

Capable of producing own submissions and demonstrating versatility in a growing company

Experience working with bid teams and ability to prioritise and convert opportunities

Qualities & Attitude:

Excellent communicator with the ability to create and build effective relationships with all levels of the business.

You will be a robust individual with a 'can-do', positive, attitude.

Technically minded with excellent attention to detail.

A team player but able to work well autonomously.

Excellent capability when presenting to Clients

Strong working knowledge of Client environments

Ability to relate to different levels of Client organisations up to and incl CEO
