Manchester Staff is currently looking for a talented Business Developer to join a boutique finance brokerage firm specializing in asset finance solutions tailored to meet the unique needs of clients.

Position Overview:
As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for driving business growth by identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, nurturing existing client relationships, and contributing to the overall success of our firm.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Business Development:
  • Identify new business opportunities and develop strategies to attract and acquire clients within the asset finance market.
  • Build and maintain a robust pipeline of potential clients through proactive networking, lead generation, and market research.
  • Collaborate with the team to develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and business objectives.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, financial institutions, and industry partners.
  • Client Relationship Management:
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, understanding their financing needs and providing tailored solutions to meet their objectives.
  • Develop and maintain long-term relationships with clients to foster loyalty and ensure client satisfaction.
  • Market Analysis and Insights:
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, market developments, and regulatory changes affecting the asset finance landscape.
  • Conduct thorough market analysis and competitor research to identify growth opportunities and potential areas for differentiation.
  • Provide timely and insightful reports to the team on market trends, client feedback, and business performance.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration:
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams to ensure seamless execution of client transactions and deliver exceptional service.
  • Work closely with the team to assess credit worthiness and structure financing solutions that align with clients' needs and risk profiles.

Qualifications:

  • Proven track record of success in business development, preferably in the financial services industry, with a focus on asset finance.
  • Strong understanding of asset finance products, including equipment leasing, commercial loans, and other financing solutions.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients and stakeholders.
  • Strategic thinker with a proactive approach to identifying and pursuing new business opportunities.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment and effectively manage multiple priorities.
