Business Development Executive

Basic Salary: £28,000 (£43,000 OTE) + Benefits

Fancy working for a market leading CRM provider to the property sector.

The Business Development Executive is responsible for generating business within the property sector. Predominantly, this will consist of generating leads by telephone to secure online appointments for the Business Development Managers, keeping the business fully appraised of significant client and prospect activity and maintaining the CRM system with any details applicable to the proposition, prospect or product requirements.

The Role

  • Proactively review client’s usage of third parties to identify cross-selling and up-selling opportunities and generate further revenue for Small Business Sales
  • ·Cold call estate agent decision makers to find out more information about them and keep internal databases up to date, where possible converting leads into opportunities for us to demonstrate how our software could be beneficial to them
  • Arrange comprehensive product demonstrations to ensure prospective clients understand what our products can offer them and ensure that our products are entirely suitable to their needs, following up as required after the demonstration
  • Establish and maintain business critical relationships with prospects, third parties and internal teams, ensuring that expectations at all levels are managed through effective communication
  • Ensure that all client communication is recorded using the appropriate company system and that a central repository of all client contacts is held and maintained to provide accurate visibility to the wider business
  • Maintain a thorough knowledge of our products and the wider industry to ensure our clients, existing and prospective, get the maximum benefit from their software and show they are best positioned to provide prospects with advice and recommendations on how best to use our software in line with current legislation and trends

We’re looking for candidates

  • Demonstrates an understanding of building and maintaining excellent customer relationships
  • Demonstrates an understanding of finding critical business and client solutions
  • Shows understanding of promotional/selling activities to and the desired outcomes
  • Is comfortable and confident with cold calling, as this is a large part of the role
  • Has an appropriate level of analytical understanding to be able to collect data, deliver analysis and recommend solutions
  • Has the ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment required
  • Possesses strong writing and communication skills
  • Is willing to travel throughout UK to other offices and client sites
