We are looking for a Business Development Executive to join our small but dynamic team. This role reports into the Senior Business Development Manager and will be pivotal in winning and implementing new business opportunities. You will be assisting in the sales process with senior executives across a broad mix of organisations, which will include major blue chip clients, and upon business being won you will support in the implementation of their products, which is typically a 3 - 6 month process. Implementation support will involve liaising with internal teams to help present regular updates to clients and assist with client and internal queries. The candidate must be well organised, driven and possess strong communication skills.
As part of your role you will be dealing with an international client base and will need to keep abreast of the operational rules and product developments for both MasterCard and Visa as well as maintaining an understanding of the UK E-money Regulations and the Payments Industry
Sales support for client organisations ensuring a professional and productive relationship with our corporate partners.
Liaise with relevant Project Teams and Heads of Departments to ensure that services are being performed within service level agreements and that contractual obligations are being met
Drive and project manage the compliant and efficient implementation of new clients and new products working with internal and external stakeholders
Update and maintain the internal CRM systems
Gain and maintain a firm understanding of MasterCard and Visa rules and regulations to provide knowledgeable and credible information to clients.
Work with 3rd party representatives and managers to improve the services provided
Seek to sell company products and services to existing and prospective client organisations
Support the Marketing Manager when required with specific marketing activities
2 years minimum experience in Sales, Business Development and/or Project Management
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal and ability to provide evidence of building and maintaining strong corporate relationships.
Good IT skills: PowerPoint, Excel, Word and Outlook
Well organised and self-motivated with the ability to work to tight timescales and demonstrate attention to detail and use of initiative
Well presented and professional with a positive, resilient outlook and an ability to deliver the corporate message
An understanding of the need to keep information confidential
Confident and articulate with an outgoing personality and an ability to adapt interpersonal styles dependent upon the audience
Pro-active approach with the ability to drive individuals to meet specified internal and external
