Business Analyst (Manufacturing) - Up to £45,000 - Leicester - Permanent
Monday - Friday, 9am - 5pm

Macildowie has partnered with a well-established manufacturer in Leicester to recruit a Business Analyst.


The key objective is to have previously operated as a Business Analyst working on behalf of a manufacturing business as well as having a firm understanding of projects within manufacturing.

Main Responsibilities

  • Collaboratively working and communicating with stakeholders throughout the organisation to map business processes, user journeys and process flows and understand their needs to deliver solutions to meet project and business objectives.
  • Provide business requirements to the Business Systems Manager following appropriate analysis and requirements gathering exercises internally.
  • Effective collection of user stories to drive a quality business products.
  • Act as an advocate for the implementation governance and continuous improvement of the business roadmap, project framework and agile delivery processes.
  • Contribute to the definition and continuous improvement of business analysis best practices, including self-development, to maximise effectiveness and productivity.
  • Evaluating potential solutions, assessing feasibility, and providing recommendations on the best course of action.
  • Supporting clients and understanding data dependencies along with system or other project impacts.
  • Identifying opportunities for process improvements and recommending innovative solutions to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.


The Candidate

  • Experience working in a similar role including data / business analytics or project coordination / management.
  • An innovative approach to your work, looking to develop and suggest improvements.
  • Excellent communication style enabling you to maintain and develop relationships within the Information Technology teams and throughout the organisation.
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively.
