Key Skills/Knowledge

  1. Excellent commercial understanding and ability to make sound recommendations
  2. Knowledge and experience of NPD and product development
  3. Knowledge of marketing communications development, ideally on low budgets
  4. Presentation skills - Able to fluently and clearly present plans and recommendations
  5. Good planning and prioritisation skills
  6. Solid experience in marketing in an FMCG environment

Key responsibilities:

  • Brand activation, including on-pack partnership, social media, shows and awards
  • Input to the brands commercial plan
  • NPD and value engineering: Marketing-lead for all projects
  • Annual Brand Plans and Customer presentations
  • Brand housekeeping : A&P management
  • in-store activation to drive further growth
  • Weekly reporting of brand performance against KPIs, with suggested remedial actions where necessary
  • Regular competitor monitoring, reporting and challenging where necessary
  • Input into the Strategic Plan for the portfolio
  • Excellent execution of Brand Plans for the portfolio
  • Championing the brands internally, including at site meetings, and commercial meetings.
