Bookkeeper - Part Time

Experienced Xero Bookkeeper required for 13 hours per week for a well-established company based in Battersea, London.

The ideal candidate will have to be available on a Tuesday working in the studio but rest of hours are flexible to the candidate.

Role Responsibilities:

Weekly payroll on Xero

  • Calculate with overtime
  • Pay via BACS and email payslips
  • Check all holiday logged into Xero
  • Produce P60
  • Manage pension scheme (people's pension)

Weekly basic cash flow

Process purchase invoices

  • Scan all invoices and post into Xero

Cash Management

  • Send weekly cash forecast (into PAYE and VAT)
  • Pay staff, suppliers and HMRC (via online banking)

Other duties will include:

  • Maintaining company ledgers including balance sheet recs
  • Preparing and filing quarterly VAT returns
  • Bank Reconciliations
  • Managing overdue debtors including chasing clients for arrears
  • Any ad-hoc duties which may be required, including checking emails and answering queries; providing telephone support; filing historical records and retrieving necessary documents as needed
