BI Developer (Retail industry)

You will play a crucial role in transforming raw data into actionable insights that drive strategic decision-making. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and maintain scalable BI solutions that help stakeholders to make informed decisions.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain robust BI solutions using tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
  • Build and optimize data models, ETL processes, and data pipelines to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
  • Create visually compelling reports, dashboards, and interactive data visualizations that provide actionable insights.
  • Perform data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for operational improvement and business growth.
  • Proactively monitor and troubleshoot BI solutions to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
  • Stay current with emerging trends and best practices in BI and data analytics.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a BI Developer or Data Analyst in a retail or e-commerce environment
  • Proficiency in SQL for data manipulation and analysis.
  • Strong expertise in data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms.
  • Experience with data modelling, ETL development, and data warehousing concepts
  • Solid understanding of retail business processes and metrics (e.g., sales, inventory, customer analytics).
