Hyperloop Recruitment are partnering with a fantastic Chester-based scale-up who are looking for a Backend Developer to join their growing team.

Working with a small team of software engineers, testers and BAs, you will be responsible for building efficient, scalable market-leading applications working on a cutting-edge tech stack.

Working on mostly greenfield projects, this represents an exciting challenge for an ambitious Backend Developer who has strong commercial experience with Node.js.

Ideally, you will have a minimum of 3 years' commercial experience in backend development and be degree educated in Computing or a similar subject.

  • MySQL
  • NoSQL/DynamoDB design
  • AWS
  • Version control (Git)
  • Microservices architecture


The role is paying up to £60,000 (DOE) + benefits & will be a hybrid working role with one day per week in the Chester city centre office.
