Do you want to work at a Health-Tech start-up whose mission is to enable people to live longer, healthier lives by solving the complex network of connectivity between clinicians and patients - we aim to keep all parties on track in the healthcare ecosystem in clinical care and research, reducing inefficiencies and improving clinical outcomes. They have built a digital platform that engages patients in a structured asynchronous two-way information exchange with healthcare professionals, while keeping all parties on track.

They have been created from the vision and passion of the founders, resulting in the first iteration of the product which is simple to use, while solving significant problems for its users, with great feedback from customers. As the company grows, to achieve goals for product-market fit, product adoption, and revenue and profitability, iOWNA is looking to build out its in-house Tech team, commencing with this key role.

The role will involve close collaboration with the CTO and the current outsourced technical team.

What you will be doing:

They are looking for an experienced Backend Cloud Developer who will be responsible for implementing and maintaining scalable, resilient, and secure solutions on AWS public cloud. Who has experience with at least one high-level language and recent, relevant experience developing and integrating with AWS cloud-native components.

What experience you will need to apply:

  • Serverless functions (ideally AWS Lambda) & AWS components.
  • TypeScript / JavaScript / Python.
  • CI/CD pipelines (Ideally using AWS CloudFormation).
  • Shell script, Linux, and operating system administration.
  • HTTP APIs (ideally AWS Appsync(GraphQL) and API Gateway(rest)).
  • SQL databases.
  • Securing SaaS applications.

What you’ll get in return for your experience:

Salary up to £60,000 (DOE) + other benefits.
