Job Role: Azure Data Engineer

Location: Central London - Hybrid / 3 Days in Office

Salary: £60,000 - £70,000 + 12.5% Bonus

Chapman Tate is collaborating with a leading Housing Association that is revolutionizing the industry through innovative data-driven solutions. As they continue to expand their operations, they are seeking a talented Azure Data Engineer with strong SQL expertise to join their dynamic team.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines and ETL processes using Azure Data Factory.
  • Optimize data storage and retrieval processes to ensure scalability, reliability, and performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and implement solutions that meet business needs.
  • Develop and maintain SQL scripts, queries, and stored procedures for data manipulation and analysis.
  • Perform data cleansing, transformation, and validation to ensure data quality and integrity.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot data pipelines to identify and resolve issues in a timely manner.
  • Stay updated on the latest trends and advancements in Azure data technologies and recommend improvements to existing systems.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Data Engineer or similar role, with a focus on Azure data technologies.
  • Strong proficiency in SQL programming and database management.
  • Hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL Database, and other Azure data services.
  • Familiarity with data modelling concepts and best practices.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work well in a team environment.
