Audit Technical & Training, Senior Manager

Our client, a global accountancy firm is seeking to hire a Technical & Training Manager in London. You will provide technical support and development to audit and accounting staff and partners within the firm.

Core responsibilities:

· Preparation of materials for use in the firm's audit software
· Preparation and presentation of technical material on developments in international and UK audit and accounting
· Provision of technical advice on UK and international accounting standards
· Provision of technical advice on international auditing standards
· Provision of training courses on audit and accounting

· Be aware of and comply with the firm's policies at all times
· Record time accurately using the Practice Management System
· Any other duties appropriate to the grade and level of responsibility of this post, for which the post holder has the necessary experience and/or training
· Be aware of the firm's risk management and practice assurance procedures and ensure compliance
· Ensure continuing professional development is up to date at all times


· A strong understanding of audit requirements and methodology
· Strong current technical knowledge
· Competent at using MS Office applications and Outlook
· Presentation skills and classroom training experience
· Good communication and presentation skills
· Strong organisational and time management skills
· Has proven planning and prioritising skills
· Able to work under pressure with accuracy and focus
· Able to demonstrate problem solving skills
