This well-established national planning consultancy with an office in Newcastle are looking to expand their senior team by inviting an Associate Planner to join them. With a dynamic, energetic CEO leading the business this is a good time to become involved in a forward thinking and growing consultancy where autonomy is a given and you are able to put your own stamp on projects plus put forward potential new revenue streams and ways of working.
Currently standing as a team of eight, they are looking for an additional experienced, professional planner to help the senior management team meet the current demand for their services and promote the business more widely in the north east. The consultancy sees this role as crucial to achieving its growth targets for the Newcastle office with this person being responsible for managing and developing further clients, but not exclusively, in the commercial sector including retail and leisure.
The Newcastle team have a strong hold in the mixed used regeneration, education and residential sectors and are looking to develop this further. They are looking for someone to manage and nurture client relationships, win repeat and develop new business, assist in managing and coaching the junior planners within the office and run projects from inception to completion. They are looking for someone who also has significant experience in heritage planning and environmental impact assessments.
They pride themselves on having a good working relationship between offices within the practice, with the Newcastle and Leeds offices often working together and supporting each other on client projects.
