Prime opportunity to join an International Transport Consultancy with very ambitious expansion plans for 2017/2018. Would suit client facing Principal / Associate Transport Planners who feel ready to transition into potentially a Director level role.
We are working with a recognisable Transport Planning Specialist with global reach and capability. With operations spanning 150 countries and a turnover in excess of half a billion Euros they represent a hugely successful Industry Leader. In line with projected growth they are recruiting for experienced Transport Planners to join their team based in the South East / M25 area. They are happy to look at candidates wishing to relocate as well.
They are looking for experienced professionals with a background in development planning, transport scheme appraisals, review of junction modelling and design (using Linsig, Picady, Arcady, Transyt etc.), and business cases. You will currently be at Senior, Principal or Associate level, with excellent client engagement skills (or with a solid network of industry contacts).
The role will involve project management of a wide range of transport projects across the UK to include some flagship development projects. You will oversee the commercial development and performance of the Reading or London Transport Planning team, building the team's existing client base in South, whilst providing input into technical studies within the business area. It would be expected that there would be elements of business development through client engagement and proposal development in the medium to long-term. This represents a rare opportunity to tackle a challenging Associate to Director level role and impact on bottom-line growth for a known consultancy.
If this opportunity sounds of interest and you have over eight years experience in a UK Transport Planning practice please send your CV to for review or call me on
