NEW POSITION: Our client is a airfreight / transport company based near Heathrow and they are seeking an EXPERIENCED transport senior / assistant manager to join their team on a 4 4 on off basis. The hours are 7.00am - 19.00pm

You will be working on opposite shift to the other assistant transport manager so will be required to liaise and provide a full handover to each other at the end of a shift.

An international CPC is required for this position.

Duties include:

- Managing compliance of fleet & drivers

- Arranging repairs and maintenance / MOT to fleet of vehicles (van - HGV1 size)

- Briefing and debriefing of drivers

- Assisting with recruitment of drivers and booking contract / temp drivers

- Dealing with UK / European freight for urgent / general shipments.
