Key responsabilities include:
Assist with the preparation and distribution of annual budgets and quarterly spend reports
Assist with the production of year end accounts for the developments, including preparation of accruals and prepayments
Prepare refunds to homeowners living in developments with year-end surpluses
Provide ad hoc analysis and interpretation of development spend and data
Assist with the audit process and queries for the developments
Contribute towards process improvement discussions
Undertake any balance sheet reconciliations as required
Ensure that proper accounting records are maintained, all transactions are accurately recorded, and all assets and liabilities properly controlled in accordance with the Group’s Key Control Framework
AAT qualified would be preferable. The successful applicant is likely to be studying or seeking to study for qualifications or qualified by experience in an accounting environment.
Willingness to travel to developments on an ad hoc basis would be desirable.
The role requires significant communication and liaison at different levels across the organisation and it is important that these contacts should be managed effectively and co-operatively.
