You the Assistant Merchandiser - Fashion will work alongside the Merchandiser and the Buyer to manage each category.

Preparing and analysing reports use in creating weekly trade packs, highlighting sales mix by department.

Client Details

A leading online (Ecommerce) retail business in the Manchester area. The business has gone from strength to strength and are looking to grow their merchandising team. The business offer up to date trends to an influencer driven market at a fast rate. The business sells dresses, co-ords, jackets, shoes etc.

Description

Working alongside the Merchandiser and the Buyer to manage each category.

Preparing and analysing reports use in creating weekly trade packs, highlighting sales mix by department.

Using KPIs to inform commercial decisions: what to place rebuys on.

Action re-prices or mark downs for underperforming lines whilst protecting
margin.

Working with E-Commerce to visually merchandise certain lines, such as those with low
views & high conversion and bestselling lines which have come back into stock.

Keeping track of the Outstanding Purchase Order ('OPO') Report at the SKU level, working closely
with our suppliers to ensure that low-cover and trending lines are brought in quickly.

Performing a full analysis each week, informing the Merchandiser of
any risks, high returns, problem suppliers and possible cancellations due to lateness.

Troubleshooting warehouse discrepancies alongside our logistics partner and finance team; and
holding suppliers to account by ensuring they are delivering correct items and quantities.

Supporting 1 or 2 Merchandise Assistants

Profile

• Experience of working in a head office merchandising team, ideally fashion
• Excellent Excel skills
• Strong interpersonal skills
