Venn Group is pleased to be recruiting on behalf of a major NHS Services Provider based in the north, which is looking to recruit an Assistant Director of Governance and Risk on a minimum 3 month contract. They will be an expert in risk management and able to provide effective strategic leadership. Responsible for compliance to all regulations and best practises set by external agencies and national bodies. The post holder will plan and organise a broad range of complex activates which include formulating plans, strategies and policy implementation.
The successful Assistant Director of Governance and Risk will have five years previous work experience at a senior level in a relevant professional environment. A proven record of leading and effectively managing change across an organisation, supporting the systematic investigation of incidents using root cause analysis tools and techniques. Able to demonstrate change in complex systems across a number of projects or initiatives while meeting Trust clinical governance objectives.
- Five years previous work experience at a senior level in a relevant professional environment
- Experience of implementing risk management systems and clinical/integrated/quality governance processes preferably in an acute trust setting
- Effective communicator able to communicate highly complex information verbally and in writing in a clear, concise and effective manner
- Demonstrable understanding of NHS quality improvement frameworks and requirements
NHS Banding: Band 8C in line with NHS caps
Location: North England
Duration: 3 month minimum
