Permanent assistant company accountant job in Lanarkshire
Your new company
Our client, a market-leader in the manufacturing industry based in Lanarkshire, are currently looking for an assistant company accountant to join them on a permanent basis. This is an exciting opportunity for a fully qualified or part-qualified individual to advance their career.
Your new role
Your new role will be very varied, but will involve the management of a small finance team. You will also be involved in the preparation of year end accounts, including liaising with auditors, and preparing management accounts. As well as this, you will be responsible for month-end stock taking procedures, and will help with purchase ledger and sales ledger processing.
What you'll need to succeed
To succeed in this position, you must be either a fully qualified accountant or part-qualified and actively studying. As well as this, you will have relevant experience in the manufacturing industry and a strong knowledge of their processes. You will be confident in the preparation of management and year-end accounts, and have some experience of managing a finance team.
