Assistant Accountant

A well-established consultancy in Tunbridge Wells is looking to recruit a permanent Assistant Accountant. You will be working within the wealth and trust services side of the business completing accounts preparation and reporting. This is an excellent role for an ambitious junior who wishes to join an expanding business which offers a long-term opportunity to progress within the firm. Applicants must have a minimum 2 years accounting experience within practice or financial services.

Duties will include:

• Ledger accounting and bookkeeping
• Month end management accounting
• Data management
• Bank reconciliation
• Wealth reporting and analysis
• Cash flow analysis
• Raising payments
• Oversight of Junior assistants
• Support the Wealth Service Team and Assistant Manager

You must have:

• Back-office or bookkeeping background
• Previous investment experience
• Experience with general ledger accounting
• Knowledge of funds such as private equity or derivatives
• Good Excel and Access skills
• Excellent organisation and communication
