Asbestos Surveyor - Greater London

£30,000 - £40,000 - Overtime on Weekends at 1.5 x Pay and a £70 call out fee


The company I am working with have over 30 years of experience, specializes in surveying and analysing asbestos-containing materials for various organizations. As a UKAS-accredited consultancy, our expert team provides efficient solutions for asbestos management inquiries.

Main Duties & Responsibilities of an Asbestos Surveyor:

  • Undertake asbestos surveys (Management, Refurbishment and Demolition) across a wide range of properties.
  • Collect bulk samples to be taken in for analysis.
  • Produce and submit high quality survey reports in a timely manner.
  • Liaise with clients, the management team, and tenants on a daily basis.
  • Maintain up to date knowledge of the health and safety legislation in relation to asbestos.
  • Always represent the company in a professional manner.

Essential Requirements for an Asbestos Surveyor:

  • Possess the BOHS P402 certifications
  • Full UK driving license with a willingness to travel
  • Flexible working approach to commuting and out of hours work
  • Good level of IT skills and knowledge of TEAMS systems
  • Excellent communicator, both verbal and written

My client has around 15 Asbestos Surveyor within Greater London that they want to add to. They would prefer an experience asbestos surveyor with a couple of years' experience however it is not essential. The work they are currently contractually involved in is mostly domestic with some commercial.

Commutable locations: Slough, Maidenhead, Watford, Bromley, Croydon, Twickenham, Enfield, Romford, Wembley, Hayes, Kingston Upon Thames.
