They own over 100 properties across the UK worth over £1bn.

Due to their continued success and growth they now require an Area Operations Manager.

The business is rapidly evolving and they are now looking for a Area Operations Manager with a proven track record in leading high performing customer focused teams. They are looking for someone who is obsessed with customer service and delivering the highest standards of customer experience across a wide range of buildings.

  • As an Operations Manager your role will be to provide strategic direction, leadership and development for our clients customer facing teams. Our clients employee experience should align with their customer experience.
  • Proactively develop a network of key relationships, seek potential new external partnership opportunities, and work collaboratively across teams to join up our service and to find innovative ways to streamline and enhance the customer experience.
  • Manage and communicate initiatives, processes and KPI’s to enable a highly transparent, credible and impactful service. Share information across your peer group and ensure that best practise and learning is shared.
  • Develop innovative and creative change initiatives that will continually drive and improve the service offering.
  • Create, implement and manage operational objectives and processes across your region, while remaining agile and adaptable to the constantly changing environment.
  • Leadership of a number of Customer Operations and Community Managers to deliver the strategic objectives of your area as set by the Head of Operations.
  • Oversee and direct an intelligence based approach to outcome focused services, ensuring that our client meet customer expectations.
  • Closely manage costs and budgets to ensure that they maximise both time and value for the customers
  • You will be based from the Manchester office, with visits across Manchester City Centre, Greater Manager including Bolton, Knutsford etc.


  • The successful Operations Manager will have service experience with an emphasis on building communities through supporting the delivery of events, and meaningful relationships through more formal interactions, ideally from a hospitality/service/co working background.
  • Strategic thinking and brilliant leadership skills, with proven ability to influence at all levels.
  • Ability to think 'out of the box' and bring creative, nonstandard, and innovative solutions to the table.
  • Proven experience of leading strategic change and embedding initiatives. Especially around customers and communities.
  • You must be comfortable working in a matrixed organisation, building trust in difficult situations getting buy in and consensus from others with diverse opinions, driving decision making and being transparent with information.
  • Able to work closely with Customer Experience and Community Teams to deliver on our clients strategic vision.
