My client is a leading software company looking to hire an application support Analyst to join a very long standing and expanding company.

Our Customer Support Consultants are responsible for accurately recording customer enquiries, assigning an appropriate priority, and taking ownership of providing a solution.

Individuals must be able to clearly determine the root of a customer enquiry, identifying the process being undertaken, the program being used, and the problem experienced.

Duties include: Performing pre-booked tasks, such as company year end processing and software upgrades Actively questioning the customer to obtain a clear picture of the issue faced Identifying a solution to the issue Where necessary, escalating the issue to appropriate staff Recording and communicating solution to customer Ticket Logging and call categorisation.

Skills Experience

1st and 2nd Line Support

Extensive experience in a customer-focused role in a service orientated environment Educated to degree level or relevant experience to deliver in the role Basic Knowledge of databases such as MS SQL - backup & restore of data, running scripts Experience / knowledge of business processes such as Sales Order Processing, Accounts Records Using Remote Desktop tools, TeamViewer would be beneficial but is not essential An understanding of database.
