AMA Coordinator / Handover Manager

Balfour Beatty has an exciting opportunity for an Acquire and Maintain Assets (AMA) Coordinator to join our team to work in Heathrow Airport.

Our current project is a £190m replacement of all Hold Baggage Screening Equipment (HBS) in Terminals 1, 2 and 4. All applicants must have experience of the HAL system which means you must have previous experience of working at Heathrow Airport.

As an AMA Coordinator, you will:

  • Establish and maintain relationships with the integrated project team
  • Develop a full understanding of H&S File requirements and streamline their compilation
  • Co-ordinate and Manage H&S File Compilation and the Asset Information Management (AIM)process with all the design consultants and relevant suppliers
  • Carry out monthly checks to test accuracy of AIM coding, and measure progress
  • Ensure all Heathrow Airport Limited (HAL) Assets are registered within the HAL AIM system
  • Develop a Plan, then organise and procure all AIM code labelling for installation on site by others, measuring progress monthly
  • Manage the on-site installation of AIM code labelling on site, ensuring all relevant assets are labelled, measuring progress monthly
  • Manage the removal of assets from the HAL AIM system, that are related to demolition / deconstruction and diversion works

You will:

  • Be experienced in the use of HAL AIM web based software, Documentum
  • Have extensive knowledge of the HAL H&S File and AIM management experience
  • Be experienced in the use of MEP systems and appropriate standards
  • Be fully conversant with AutoCAD
  • Have demonstrable experience working within aviation based at Heathrow Airport
