ADMINISTRATION MANAGER

We have a great opportunity to join an independent family run agricultural business in York with many years of market knowledge and who are specialists in their sector. If you are looking for a new challenge, love the great outdoors and the countryside and fancy working in a nice and peaceful setting then this is the job for you.

WHAT’S IN IT FOR YOU..?

  • Competitive salary of up to £30K
  • Monday to Friday 8am-4pm (Office based)

SNAP SHOT OF THE ROLE...

  • Managing the administration function
  • Stock ordering, ensuring all site paperwork is correct and up to date for auditing
  • Maintaining and update COSHH safety files for all sites
  • Answering the phone as first point of contact for the business
  • Helping GM with all H&S risk assessments and maintenance on sites
  • Reconciling deliveries with invoices ready for accounts dept
  • Maintaining all spreadsheets
  • Processing new starters and leavers
  • Investigations and disciplinaries
  • Assisting with payroll
  • Writing and updating company policies and procedures
  • Identifying and arranging training for all staff.
  • Assist transport manager with servicing and repairs paperwork

The Person...

  • A solid administrator with a good set of transferable skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft Packages particularly Excel
  • Ideally some exposure to HR
  • A self-starter who can work independently (sometimes you will be the only person in the office)
  • Driven and conscientious who can multitask and complete all tasks with minimal supervision
