We are recruiting for a permanent Administration Manager. This is a new and exciting role, created as part of a restructure. We are searching for a people person who can lead the current Admin team of 4 (developing processes and practices and leading change) but also be prepared to support day to day activities such as pupil/learner transitions and requests from senior management for administrative services in addition to providing cover for team members on occasion including reception and front of house duties.

To be successful in this role, applicants will need to be able to demonstrate a collaborative approach to leadership, whilst being committed to leading, supporting and driving change. It is really important that we find someone for this role who is on hands on and able to step in to operationally support this small function when required.

This role will support the Admin Teams across both the School and adult centre. We are really keen to hear from candidates who have a care/education background and therefore are familiar with day to day operations in these settings and the guidelines and regulations they impose.

The ideal candidate will be:

Experienced working in an office environment at a senior level - a background in school administration and/or care and associated regulatory requirements (e.g. Ofsted, CQC) would be a significant advantage

Experienced in organising, leading and motivating other staff

Confident managing and operating clerical / administrative systems, including Microsoft Office and school MIS systems

This position will be working Monday - Friday from 08.30 - 17.00.
