Salary of up to £26,000 per annum plus benefits

My client, a well known company in the Newport area, is seeking to recruit an experienced and hands-on Team Supervisor who wants to lead a small finance team.

Reporting into the Financial Controller, the ideal candidate will have good knowledge of import and foreign exchange, as well as a wealth of knowledge in raising payments and reconciling accounts.

Main duties of the role to include -

  • Accounts staff supervision
  • Overseeing staff
  • Processing of purchase ledger
  • Checking and processing purchase invoices
  • Processing credit notes
  • Resolving queries
  • Reconciling creditor accounts
  • Raising payments
  • Ad hoc finance duties

The ideal candidate will have previous experience of Forex as well as a solid understanding of stock.

You will be a well organised individual, who is able to work on their own initiative, who is able to plan workloads and be able to contribute to the effective running of the team, in compliance with company policies & procedures.

You will have knowledge of Exchequer software, payroll and good use of Excel.
