Your new role
You will report directly in to the Accounts Payable Manager, and will be responsible for all aspects of the Accounts Payable process. This will include raising purchase orders, matching, batching and coding of invoices in a timely and accurate manner, query resolution, collating reports, ledger management, liaising with internal departments & stakeholders, processing payments, and any other areas as required by the department.
What you'll need to succeed
The successful candidate will have excellent experience working within an Accounts Payable department, and will be fully conversant with all relevant processes and procedures. You will be comfortable with high volume and high value invoice processing, and proficient working in a deadline focused and busy accounts team. You will have outstanding attention to detail, be comfortable both within a team and without supervision, and will complete all tasks in a diligent and focused manner. You must have strong Excel skills, and have no issue picking up new systems quickly.
What you'll get in return
You will receive a basic salary of £16,000 - £19,000 dependant on experience, along with a generous employer pension contribution.
