Llanelli - Temporary to Permanent
£8.00 - £8.80 per Hour + Holiday Pay
A fantastic opportunity has arisen in the Llanelli area for an Accounts Clerk. The position is being offered initially on a temporary basis, however for the successful candidate a permanent contract will be offered. The role is expected to last 13 weeks temporary, with a view to going permanent after this period.
Working as part of a friendly accounts team, the successful candidate will be required to assist with purchase/sales ledger entry and deal with ad hoc finance tasks in order to ensure the smooth operation of the finance department.
The role would suit an individual that has worked within an administrative role, yet has had exposure of working within a basic entry level accounts position. My client will also consider applicants who are studying towards the early stages of their AAT professional qualification. You will possess a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
Key responsibilities will include:
- High volume input of data entry invoices on both the purchase and sales ledger side
- Filing invoices, archiving and photo-copying
- Assisting the finance manager with their day to day tasks
- General administrative support to the finance team
- Sage experience is highly desirable coupled with Microsoft Excel skills
