£17,000 - £18,500 depending on experience
A brilliant opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic Accounts Assistant to join our client, a growing company based in North Leeds.
You will be joining a talented finance team within a busy open plan working environment.
The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, organisational skills and work well under pressure and to tight deadlines
Experience of Sage would be advantageous but not essential. Good Excel skills and working with spreadsheets is essential.
Key duties include:
- Maintaining the purchase ledger including processing invoices and processing weekly payment runs
- Be a key contact for preferred suppliers
- Liaise with suppliers over both Emails/Phone
- Statement Reconciliation
- Resolve queries on supplier accounts and escalate when necessary
- Support the credit control team when required
