RK Accountancy are urgently seeking an experienced Accounts Assistant to take on an initial 2 – 3 month contract with our Client based in the Wigan area.
This is a great opportunity to work within a growing and successful business with a brilliant reputation. We are ideally looking for someone to start immediately and could lead to something more long term for the right candidate.
Some of your duties will include:
Assisting with purchase ledger including processing invoices and matching GRN’s
Calculation of the end of month payments to suppliers
Assisting with the sales ledger including the posting of cheques/bank receipts
Issuing monthly statements
Assisting with credit control including contacting customers and issuing weekly credit control reports
Updating and monitoring monthly sales information via excel
Monthly VAT reporting
Preparation of monthly stock audit sheets and distributing to Sales Managers
Nominal Analysis in Excel
To be considered, you will need the following:
Experience of working within an Accounts Assistant or similar role
Experience and knowledge of purchase ledger/sales ledger/credit control
Able to work to tight deadlines and process high volumes of invoices
Excellent IT skills
Experience using Syspro ERP preferred but not essential
