This varied Financial Accountant role is based at a thriving locally based SME where you will be responsible for the company's financial activities providing information and support to the senior management team.
Duties briefly include:
Preparation of monthly management reports including trial balance, P&L, balance sheet, costs vs budgets and cash flow
Overseeing and reviewing purchases, suppliers and sub contractor payments and quarterly VAT returns
Preparation and review of annual and quarterly budgets, forecasts and overheads projections
Reconciliation of year end management reports, bank reconciliations, and credit facilities
You will also be involved in administering company utilities, data protection, company insurance renewals and the company pension scheme.
A CIMA qualification together with a good knowledge of GAAP and statutory Accounting Principles is essential.Advanced experience of SAGE accounting software is desirable.
The successful candidate will join a well established organisation with over 30 years successful trading history in the industrial controls field.
