ACCOUNT SERVICE ADVISOR

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a very well-established business who are experts in their sector. This role is an account adviser, speaking with current customers and building relationships, all conversations are warm and ultimately you will start to account manage your own clients. The role also offers a clear progression route to account manager, senior account manager, sales manager and so on...

WHAT’S IN IT FOR YOU...

  • Hours: 35 Hours Per Week. 1 Hour Lunch Break. 0900-1700.
  • Salary up to £32K
  • Pension: employer contribution 3%, employee contribution min 5% (available after 6 months of service)
  • Holiday: 31 Days Total (20 Days + 8 Days Bank Holiday + 3 Days Xmas Shutdown)
  • Central location

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING…

  • Manage a number of current accounts, warm and colder existing users
  • Building relationships via outbound activity, introducing yourself as their main point of contact
  • Sending stock lists
  • Handling emails and phone enquiries
  • Agreeing prices
  • Ensuring that customers are within their credit limits
  • Customer visits assisting the manager
  • Raising claims as they arise and resolving them under manager supervision
  • Finding / Developing leads and converting into accounts

THE PERSON…

  • Previous sales experience would be beneficial but not essential
  • Excellent telephone skills
  • Previous Account Management experience beneficial but again not essential
  • A professional but friendly approach to work
  • Able to work to targets
