2nd Line Support Engineer - Managed Service Provider

My client are a leading managed service providers specialising in the SME Market, are looking for experienced 2nd line support analysts to join their rapidly growing support team on a permanent basis

You will be working within a fast paced environment and would be expected to receive, prioritise, document and actively resolve customer requests whilst striving to deliver the highest level of customer service.

Essential skills include experience with:

  • Windows Server 2008/2012
  • Windows 7
  • Exchange 2007/2010/2013
  • Active Directory
  • Microsoft Office Applications
  • Excellent working knowledge of Active Directory and Microsoft Exchange..
  • Proven experience resolving incidents quickly by using remote support tools. Ability to effectively prioritise and execute tasks in a high pressure environment
  • Log and Resolve technical incidents.
  • 2nd lineSupport.
  • Ensure SLA targets are achieved and working to reduce SLA target times
  • Report on progress of incidents and update relevant service management tools
  • Ensure relevant technical documentation is appropriately maintained and available
  • Provide full support of hardware and software used
  • Regularly conducting system & server checks to reduce and service outages
  • Managing installation of Servers and complete networks.
  • Managing Migrations from SBS server 2008/2011 to Full Server 2008/2012 Domain Controller, and Microsoft Exchange 2013.
  • Managing Migration projects from Microsoft Exchange 2007/2010/to 2013.
