2nd Line Support Engineer - Park Royal, London
Are you looking for a new exciting opportunity working as a 2nd Line Support Engineer to be based near Waterloo?
Main Duties of the Role
- Provide global IT Support
- Monitor and maintain IT and technical systems
- Maintain and administer Active Directory environments including security/policies
- Maintain and administer antivirus/security updates/patches
- LAN/WAN support
- Maintain IT documentation/asset tagging/licensing
- Setup and configure new hardware and software as required
Your Skills and Experience
- Excellent communication skills
- Broad knowledge of Windows Desktop and Server operating systems
- Microsoft Applications
- Dell PC & Server equipment
- PC imaging software for OS deployment
- Active Directory/Group Policy/WSUS/Networking including TCP/IP/subnets/DHCP/DNS/FTP
- Microsoft Office Products and security updates/patches
- Telephony experience with IP/PBX technologies
- Symantec Antivirus software or similar
- Familiarity with VNC/RDP type software
Desirable
- NAS/SAN
- My SQL
- Apache/Jboss
- Experience of Administering a Google Apps Domain
- MCP/MCSE/CCNA/Linux Fundamentals/RHCSA/RHCE
- Dell/Cisco hardware HP Printers
- Linux/Unix/MAC
Salary
£30,000-£35,000 + bonus
