Are you looking for a new exciting opportunity working as a 2nd Line Support Engineer to be based near Waterloo?

Main Duties of the Role

  • Provide global IT Support
  • Monitor and maintain IT and technical systems
  • Maintain and administer Active Directory environments including security/policies
  • Maintain and administer antivirus/security updates/patches
  • LAN/WAN support
  • Maintain IT documentation/asset tagging/licensing
  • Setup and configure new hardware and software as required

Your Skills and Experience

  • Excellent communication skills
  • Broad knowledge of Windows Desktop and Server operating systems
  • Microsoft Applications
  • Dell PC & Server equipment
  • PC imaging software for OS deployment
  • Active Directory/Group Policy/WSUS/Networking including TCP/IP/subnets/DHCP/DNS/FTP
  • Microsoft Office Products and security updates/patches
  • Telephony experience with IP/PBX technologies
  • Symantec Antivirus software or similar
  • Familiarity with VNC/RDP type software

  • NAS/SAN
  • My SQL
  • Apache/Jboss
  • Experience of Administering a Google Apps Domain
  • MCP/MCSE/CCNA/Linux Fundamentals/RHCSA/RHCE
  • Dell/Cisco hardware HP Printers
  • Linux/Unix/MAC

Salary

£30,000-£35,000 + bonus
