1st Line IT Support Engineer - Hertford - MSP

Due to continued growth, a leading Microsoft Gold Partner based in Hertford is looking for a 1st Line IT Support Engineer to join the team.

Key Skills required:

• Previous experience in a Service Desk or Field-based role
• Windows OS 11/10
• Windows Server, Exchange Server experience
• Active Directory
• Group Policy (DNS/DHCP)
• VPN technologies
• Firewall technologies & troubleshooting

It would be highly advantageous if the ideal candidate that experience with the following:

• VMware/Hyper-V virtualisation tools
• Office 365
• SQL Server
• Backup technologies e.g. Veeam

The roles and responsibilities of the role include administering T1 support requests, accurate call logging and relevant escalation when necessary. Working closely with the other Service Desk team in a collaborative environment sharing experience and skills where applicable.
