What we do

We are one of England's leading providers of housing and services for older people. Hanover employs more than 900 people in a wide variety of roles across five main office locations and at over 600 estates throughout England. We're an inclusive employer whose policy it is to recruit a workforce that reflects the communities in which we live and work.

We have around 19,000 rental, sale and shared ownership properties across England. This includes nearly 2,500 Extra Care Housing properties where residents can access 24-hour care on site. We also have Downsizer Homes in London and southern England.

Our 50-year history, expertise and track record in innovation make us a trusted provider for those wishing to live independent, active and fulfilling lives. We're a not-for-profit organisation - any surplus we make is reinvested into maintaining our properties, improving our services and building more homes for older people.
