Welcome to BCA,

We have been bringing together buyers and sellers for nearly 70 years. Starting in 1946 as Southern Counties Car Auctions, we were one of the first companies to let people across the UK buy and sell a wide range of cars at auction, from budget runarounds to exotic imports.

At our first auction we sold 14 cars and generated proceeds of £2,300; today we sell more than one million vehicles annually and are Europe’s largest vehicle remarketing company.

Our business is to handle the sale of vehicles on behalf of one group of customers – our vendors – and sell to another group – our buyers. Most of our customers are businesses: fleet operators; manufacturers; finance and leasing houses; rental companies; national authorities; and professionals from across the retail and wholesale motor industry.

However, we don’t just serve the trade: BCA is a great place for anyone to buy or sell. Typically we have more than 10,000 vehicles available at any time – the biggest selection in the UK – from nearly new cars to commercial vehicles. ‘
