Rick and Jill Stein opened The Seafood Restaurant in 1975. Since then the business has grown to include another three restaurants in Padstow, St Petroc's Bistro, Rick Stein's Cafe and Stein's Fish & Chips as well as a pub in St Merryn and restaurants in Falmouth, Porthleven and Fistral. They also have a cookery school, 40 guest bedrooms, 4 self-catering properties, a deli, patisserie, fishmongers with seafood bar and gift shop all in and around the pretty harbour village of Padstow. In Autumn 2014 they opened their first restaurant outside of Cornwall, in Winchester, and have since opened restaurants in Sandbanks, Marlborough and Barnes.
