In July 2015, Opus Energy broke the dominance of the ‘Big Six’ energy suppliers in the business market, positioning the company as the sixth largest supplier in the business market.

Drax Group plc, which is playing a vital role in helping change the way energy is generated, supplied and used as the UK moves to a low carbon future, purchased Opus Energy in February 2017.
