Working at Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games

Gi Group are proud to be the Official Recruiter for the Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games, which will be held across the host city and the West Midlands.

In 2022, Birmingham will host the XXII Commonwealth Games, the largest multi-sport event to be held in the UK for 10 years. Approximately 6,500 athletes and team officials, from 71 Commonwealth nations and territories will come together in an 11-day celebration of sport. Events will take place across Birmingham and the West Midlands, entertaining more than one million spectators and reaching a global broadcast audience of more than one billion.

The 2022 Games will be the first time the West Midlands has played host to the event, which was previously staged in London in 1934 and Manchester in 2002.

From now until July 2022, there will be many opportunities to get involved in the Games, and we are pleased to be recruiting more than 1,000 jobs over the next two years.
