Paralegal Location: London, UKJob Type: Full-timeSalary: TBD Our client is seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Paralegal to join their Legal & Compliance team in London. Reporting to the Head of Legal UK and Co-Head of EMEA, the successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the firm’s business operations, including client onboarding, corporate governance, and compliance with legislation. This position offers the opportunity to collaborate with a global team and requires a candidate with a strong background in financial services law and regulation. Day to Day of the Role: Typing, generating, amending, and printing documents for the Legal team as required.Scanning, filing, and renaming documents into the Document Management System (DMS) and general maintenance thereof.Arranging Board packs, drafting agendas, circulating materials to directors, and uploading materials to board portal software.Drafting Board written resolutions, collating responses, and filing within the DMS.Assisting with diary management, setting up meetings, and other general administrative duties.Undertaking Companies House filings and maintaining company books.Assisting in the execution of documents via electronic signature platforms.Preparing Investment Management Agreements and letter amendments.Renaming and filing client and internal documents.Managing and processing invoices.Assisting with the onboarding process of new UK and European clients.Coordinating the quarterly external legal spend accruals for the UK Legal Team.Providing general support to the Legal team as required. Required Skills & Qualifications: 4+ years’ experience at a city law firm and/or an asset management organisation.General knowledge of financial services law and regulation as well as company/commercial law.Experience with a Document Management System (DMS).IT literate with proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.Preferably holding an undergraduate LLB law degree, a non-law degree with PGDL, Chartered Institute of Legal Executives, or National Association of Licensed Paralegals (NALP) qualification.
