The company: A small, growth-oriented and market-focused events business based in Hertfordshire that produces one major in-person event a year with potential to expand with multiple hybrid events. The role: We are seeking a self-starter that is able to slot into a small company and focus on the production of our events. Website, social media and digital marketing/communications Brand building and awareness by creating and facilitating digital content for online media platforms, including podcasts, video interviews, virtual venue, app etcDigital marketing strategy and implementation including website, email, social media, contra and paid-for digital plansPreparing posts for and monitoring LinkedIn and Instagram channelsCreating journey maps that enable more targeted campaignsAnalytics and reporting of event and social media post engagements Events/Seminars Preparing email campaigns to attract attendees, sponsors and speakersTaking the lead on ticketing administration, ticket processing and administration of main event websiteClose liaison with our events platform company partner on functionality, management and use of the event website (specific training to be provided)Organising the submission and uploading of slides, branded handouts, speaker biographies and photosGathering marketing materials from sponsors, exhibitors and speakers Client database Maintaining client database - ensuring client contact information is relevant, correct and up to dateOrganising email campaigns to our databaseAudience expansion - looking into competitive and other related events for both speakers and attendees Miscellaneous General marketing administrationSupporting the Event Manager and Directors with the organisation and production of events where necessary Knowledge, skills, requirements and experience: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with high attention to detailCreative and organised, with a willingness to learnPrevious experience working in conferences (in-person and hybrid) will be a plus, as would familiarity with event management and ticketing platforms such as Cvent, Eventbrite, Eventcube or othersEnthusiastic, proactive and self-motivatedOrganisation skills to manage multiple tasks at onceMust be able to work on tasks on their own, while being a collaborative team playerResponsible, organised and reliable, with strong problem-solving skillsCalm and flexible; able to work in a busy environment with tight deadlinesHigh proficiency of Microsoft Office and Adobe suite is preferredMust be IT proficientPrevious experience of working on social media platforms professionally and creative applications such as Photoshop, Canva, Creative Cloud, IG, etc would be a plus Terms: Working hours are 09:00-17:00 Monday-Friday, with some online calls scheduled outside of these hoursHybrid working with at least two fixed office days (to be determined)Standard 20 days holiday per calendar year (excluding bank holidays)Job type: Full-time, permanentPay: £28,000-35,000 Benefits: Ability to travel internationally for company events and related trips (some travel will be outside of standard Monday-Friday hours)Company pensionFree or subsidised travelAbility to work from home
