This team is an integral part of the firm's Insurance Group, known for representing a majority of Professional Indemnity insurers as well as many of the UK's largest contractors and construction consultancies. The Construction Associate's Role As a Construction Associate, you will be a solicitor that can handle a diverse range of claims against various construction professionals including engineers, architects, quantity surveyors, project managers, design and build contractors, and surveyors. Your primary focus will be on defending liability claims both pre and post litigation. Additionally, you will provide advice and representation on adjudication, disciplinary proceedings, arbitration, and risk management. You will also be called upon to advise insurers on policy coverage aspects of claims. The successful Construction Associate will have the opportunity to collaborate with several partners and lawyers within a dynamic and expanding team. The role promises varied, challenging, and stimulating work, offering autonomy and the chance to work on cases involving a range of construction professions with values ranging from tens of thousands to multi-millions.
