It is currently seeking a 2+ years’ PQE contentious and non-contentious Construction Solicitor to join the ever-expanding team.   Experience of advising on and drafting amendments to standard form construction contracts (JCT, NEC), collateral warranties, bonds and guarantees is essential, whether advising public or private sector developers, contractors or consultants. Moreover, experience of reviewing and advising on consultants’ appointments (both standard form and bespoke), collateral warranties and deeds of novation and an ability to draft and review development agreements, licences for alterations and pre-let agreements with works obligations. The department also provides advice on issues such as delay, loss and expense, defects and contract variations. This is an additional role due to an increase in the company's growth/work levels.
