Our client an established independent firm of Chartered Accountants are seeking an Accounts Senior to join their team in Winchester. This position has an accounts bias, and will involve being responsible for your own portfolio of clients including a mix of commercial organisations, non-for-profits, and a number of farming and agricultural based clients. You will also be undertaking some trust accounts, dealing with tax matters, VAT and payroll. A knowledge of agricultural clients is not essential, but would be helpful, along with a good understanding of accounting systems such as IRIS and CCH (Trust) Accounts. The hours of work are 8.30AM-5.15PM Monday to Thursday and 8.30AM to 4.30PM on Friday. Preferably, you will hold a professional qualification such as ACA/ACCA and ideally have a strong accounts background, with at least 3-5 years practice experience, although study support may be offered if required. You will also possess good communication and organisational skills. Our client, an independent forward thinking firm of Chartered Accountants are seeking an Accounts Semi-Senior/Senior to join their team in Fareham, Hampshire. You will be responsible for dealing with a varied portfolio of clients and the role will involve a mix of accounts and tax. Duties will include:- Completion of full statutory financial statements under FRS102, including accounts for auditReporting directly to the Accounts Manager and managing own workloadsLiaising directly with clients and answering any queriesAssisting with and completing complex accounts and tax workProviding support and relevant training in house to junior members of the team You will ideally have at least 2-3 years' practice experience and study support is offered for professional qualifications such as ACCA/ACA, although study support may be offered if required.
