We are currently working with a full-service City law firm who are looking for a Legal Cashier to join them on a permanent basis. You will be providing key support to their Legal Cashiering team managing the expenses and processes of their clients and matter accounts. Your duties will include but are not limited to: Ensuring clients’ accounts are maintained in accordance with the Solicitors Accounts RulesManage the post of disbursements,Log any breaches,Prepare client’s fee ledgers and reconcile balances. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 4 years’ experience working as a Legal Cashier with a strong understanding of the Solicitors Account Rules. It is essential you have extensive knowledge around accounting, banking and matter handling systems.

We are working alongside a Brighton based law firm and they are seeking a legal cashier/accounts assistant on a permanent basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for processing all e-chits ensuring all documentation has been received for credits and debits. This is a fill time, office based role with the potential for hybrid working after successful completion of probation. Daily duties will include advertising funds received, posting expenses, carrying out AML checks, assisting with billing as well as general queries regarding receipts and payments. You will work closely with the senior cashier and assist with the processing of credit card payments when necessary.
