This is a fantastic opportunity, where you will work in a mixed audit and capacity. Training will be provided on accounts if you work in pure audit. Our client has seen significant growth in their fee income in recent times and due to further expansion, they're looking to recruit an Audit Associate / Audit Senior Associate into their successful team. This position will primarily be focused on audit and accounts services to not-for-profit organisations and owner-managed businesses from £1m- £100m. Our client has a mixed client base of corporate and Not-for-profit businesses, and the position can be moulded around the individual. Suitable candidates will either be ACA/ACCA studying through to 0-3 years post-qualified. Key Responsibilities as Assistant Audit Manager: Assisting audit directors, senior managers and managers with audit assignments.Booking appropriate staff to conduct audit assignments.Managing and assisting with fieldwork.Reviewing and completing files and highlighting key issues to the audit RI.Liaising with clients in an appropriate manner and style.Setting budgets and negotiating fees with clients.Raising invoices in accordance with agreed billing profile.Tracking delivery against budgets / identifying any cause of overruns.Involvement with appraisals/reviews and identifying training needs.Engaging in business development and attending networking events.
